Sync Forminator Submissions to Your CRM

Forminator submissions don’t have to sit in the WordPress dashboard. FlowSync can push each one straight into your connected CRM or email list as it comes in.

This guide covers how to connect Forminator as a FlowSync source, map its fields, and activate the sync.

What you’ll need

  • Forminator installed and active, with at least one form built.
  • FlowSync installed and active.
  • A CRM or email integration already connected under FlowSync → Integrations.

Step 1: Create the workflow and pick Forminator as the source

  • Go to FlowSync → Workflows → Add New.
  • In the When · Source step, select Forminator as the source and Form Submitted as the trigger.
  • Optional: in If · Conditions, add a Form condition and select the specific form. Skip this to run the workflow for every Forminator form on the site.

Step 2: Add your CRM or email action

  • Add a Do · Action step and choose your connected integration’s action, for example, Add to List or Sync Contact.
  • The integration must already be connected under FlowSync → Integrations before it shows up here.

Step 3: Map your fields

Name field (first/last)First Name / Last NameFree
Single Name fieldFull NameFree
Any other fieldform_field_{field slug}Pro
  • Forminator names fields internally like name-1, email-1, text-1. The mapper shows each field’s display label, so check the label column rather than the raw slug.
  • Multi-step forms are supported. The workflow fires once, when the final step is submitted.
  • File upload fields map to the file’s public URL.

Step 4: Activate

Save the workflow and set its status to Active. New submissions start syncing immediately. FlowSync doesn’t back-fill entries submitted before the workflow was active.

If something goes wrong

  • The workflow doesn’t fire on a multi-step form. Confirm the visitor reached and submitted the final step. FlowSync fires only once, during final processing.
  • A field maps to the wrong value. Forminator’s internal field names (like name-1) don’t always match what you’d expect. Check the label shown in the mapper before saving.
  • Plugin not detected. Confirm Forminator is active.
  • Not sure why a run failed. Check FlowSync → Logs for the run and read the exact error returned by your CRM.
