Sync Fluent Forms Submissions to Your CRM

Every Fluent Forms submission can become a CRM contact or email subscriber the moment it lands, no manual review required.

This guide covers how to connect Fluent Forms as a FlowSync source, map its fields, and activate the sync.

What you’ll need

  • Fluent Forms installed and active, with at least one published form.
  • FlowSync installed and active.
  • A CRM or email integration already connected under FlowSync → Integrations.

Step 1: Create the workflow and pick Fluent Forms as the source

  • Go to FlowSync → Workflows → Add New.
  • In the When · Source step, select Fluent Forms as the source and Form Submitted as the trigger.
  • Optional: in If · Conditions, add a Form condition and select the form. Only published forms appear in this list. Skip this to run the workflow for every Fluent Forms form.

Step 2: Add your CRM or email action

  • Add a Do · Action step and choose your connected integration’s action, for example, Add to List or Sync Contact.
  • The integration must already be connected under FlowSync → Integrations before it shows up here.

Step 3: Map your fields

Form fieldFlowSync fieldPlan
Email fieldEmail AddressFree
Name field (first/last)First Name / Last NameFree
Single Name fieldFull NameFree
Any other fieldform_field_{field name}Pro
  • Field keys come from the field’s internal Name attribute set in the form builder, not its visible label.
  • File upload fields map to the file’s public URL.
  • Checkbox groups and multi-select fields map to a single field, with values joined by commas.

Step 4: Activate

Save the workflow and set its status to Active. New submissions start syncing immediately. FlowSync doesn’t back-fill entries submitted before the workflow was active.

If something goes wrong

  • Form doesn’t appear in the Form dropdown. Only published forms are listed. Publish the form, or check its status in Fluent Forms.
  • A mapped field comes through blank. You likely renamed the field’s internal Name after building the workflow. Open the mapper and remap the field.
  • Workflow never fires. Confirm that Fluent Forms (Free or Pro) is active and that the form was submitted successfully.
  • Not sure why a run failed. Check FlowSync → Logs for the run and read the exact error returned by your CRM.
